Position: RE Teacher - Secondary School
Days: Monday to Wednesday
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Temporary (Until December 2025)
Planning & Marking: Required
Salary: £180-£200 per day

Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Maidstone area seeking an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their team from September through to December.

The Role:

• Teach Religious Education to KS3 and KS4 students
• Deliver engaging, thoughtful lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Plan and mark lessons (PPA time provided)
• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching RE at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
