Reception Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in the borough of Croydon, which is seeking a Reception Class Teacher to join them from after the Easter holidays through to the end of the academic year in July 2025.

This is a part-time role for three days per week (Wednesday to Friday). Planning is shared with the Reception teacher who works Monday and Tuesday, making it an ideal opportunity for a collaborative and motivated educator looking for a well-supported teaching environment.

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate Early Years lessons

• Implement effective and nurturing behaviour management strategies

• Work closely with the EYFS team to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience

• Adapt learning activities to support all pupils, including those with additional needs

• Contribute to the EYFS environment and school community on your working days

• UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

• Enthusiastic and nurturing approach to teaching young children

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

• Commitment to the values and ethos of the school

• Must be available for the full duration of the assignment from April to July 2025

• 2-form entry mainstream primary school rated 'Good' by Ofsted
