Your new roleBand 5-6 Registered General NursesWorking hours: Shifts negotiable with the serviceStart Date: ASAP - ongoing, rota available until July
As part of the dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare to the inmates at HMP Lowdham Grange.Respond promptly to and attend emergency calls within the prison.Work in the prison reception, completing initial assessments and supporting new arrivals.Hold nurse-led clinics, delivering high-quality care to prisoners with a range of healthcare needs.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.Previous experience in a prison and valid clearance is a must (prison clearance is not provided)Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.Excellent communication and organisational skills.
