Registered General Nurse RGN Prison

Key Responsibilities:Respond promptly to and attend emergency calls within the prison.Work in the prison reception, completing initial assessments and supporting new arrivals.Hold nurse-led clinics, delivering high-quality care to prisoners with a range of healthcare needs.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.Shifts are 07:30-8:15 and weekend cover will be required.
Requirements:Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.Previous experience in a prison and valid clearance is a must (prison clearance is not provided)Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Recent ILS training is desirable
We offer:Competitive hourly rates: £25.40 PAYE or £29.50 Umbrella (no LTD payments)Ongoing locum work with flexible shifts.Weekly pay
