Part-time Registered Nurse

£24.50 per hour plus weekend enhancements

18.9 hours per week (Part-time) Including every other weekend

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced part-time Night Nurse to join their team and provide high-quality care to the residents during night hours. As a Night Nurse, you will ensure the well-being of the residents by administering medication, providing medical care, and offering emotional support.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current registration with the NMC.

• Post-registration experience with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks.

• Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.

• Willingness to undergo additional training in specific areas such as medication administration, end of life care, and other relevant skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Night Nurse will include but are not limited to:

• Providing high-quality nursing care to residents during the night shift.

• Administering medication and treatments according to individual care plans and physician's orders.

• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and other significant medical information.

• Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care as required.

• Effectively communicating with the day shift nursing staff, physicians, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.

• Documenting all nursing care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
