Job Description - Registered Nurse

Staff Nurse (RGN)

Hours: 18 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £21

Our client, a beautifully designed, purpose-built care home for older adults, is seeking a kind, skilled, and reliable Staff Nurse (RGN) to join their compassionate team. With a strong CQC rating and a warm, supportive culture, the service is dedicated to delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is looking to work part-time hours (18–24 per week) in a friendly, inclusive environment where staff are truly valued.

What You’ll Need

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a nursing home care setting

  • Strong clinical skills and a caring, person-centred approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding, safety, and continuous professional development

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with current guidelines and service standards

  • Support residents’ health, well-being, and independence through personalised care

  • Administer medication and treatments safely and effectively

  • Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with families and the wider care team

  • Monitor and respond to changes in residents' health, escalating concerns appropriately

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and respectful environment
