We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and caring Childcare Practitioners to work in a local Creche. The roles will be Creche Assistants and Creche Leaders.

Role Overview
To ensure the overall safety and well-being of the child/children and staff within your care.

To report any safeguarding issues to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.  

Completing relevant Safeguarding forms and sending them to Head Office.

To report any accidents/incidents and concerns to the Setting Manager/ Childcare Manager.

To complete a risk assessment on arrival, for every creche that you lead. Once risk assessment is completed to upload or email to Childcare department.

To set up the creche room/venue in adequate time before the start of the creche.

To follow paperwork procedures.

At the end of the creche to ensure all paperwork is completed and to pack away all creche kit away appropriately.

Requirements

• Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or equivalent


• Previous experience working in a Creche environment


• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding policies


• Warm, nurturing, and energetic personality


• Good communication skills and a team mindset


• Enhanced DBS on the update service


• Completion of mandatory training within the probation period (training provided)
