About the Role

Hampshire County Council have Passenger Assistant posts available Countywide. This includes across Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Waterlooville, Southampton, Totton, Eastleigh, Winchester, Basingstoke, Andover, Farnborough and Aldershot

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Help children with special educational needs (SEN) get to and from school and ensure they have the opportunity to learn, play and make new friends.
• If you can spare a few hours in the morning and afternoon, you'll give them the chance to make the most of their day.
• You won't need your own transport, and you won't need to drive. You'll also be able to enjoy the school holidays as this is a term time only post.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are needed, just a natural rapport with children and young people, alongside an awareness and understanding of special educational needs.

Benefits

• Hours are generally 7.30-9.30am and 2.30-4.30pm, up to 20 hours per week
• You'll also be able to enjoy the school holidays as this is a term time only post.
• 28 days holiday, increasing to 32 days
