Our client, a well-established law firm with a strong presence in Dorset and Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor for a locum position. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to contribute to the firm's Private Client Department during a period of internal team restructuring.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Private Client Department, handling a range of matters including Wills, Probates, LPAs, and advising on IHT and lifetime planning. This role is crucial in ensuring the department continues to deliver exceptional service to clients during this transitional period.

• Draft and review Wills, Probates, and LPAs

• Provide advice on IHT and lifetime planning

• Manage a caseload of Private Client matters

• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent with at least 5 years' experience

• Strong background in Private Client work

• Excellent communication and client care skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload

• Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools

• Immediate availability for a 2-4 month locum contract

• Competitive hourly rate of £40 - £60 per hour
