Service Charge Officer - Part time

We are seeking a highly competent Service Charge Officer to join a reputable Housing Association based in London on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will have worked in a service charge team and have been involved in service charge budgets and calculations. The candidate would have also been involved in the customer facing area of service charge and have answered any queries.

Description

• Assisting with the preparation of service charge budgets and accounts.
• Liaising with leaseholders and property managers on service charge related queries.
• Reconciling service charge statements and accounts.
• Working collaboratively with the wider accounting team.
• Ensuring compliance with housing regulations and best practice guidelines.
• Contributing to the development of service charge policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.

Profile

A successful 'Service Charge Officer' should have:

• Previous experience in service charge
• Strong understanding of service charge regulations within the property industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
