Location: Primarily Maidstone, with some travel to Sheerness
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Working Pattern: Full-time preferred | Part-time considered | Hybrid: 1 day WFH

I'm currently working with a long-established, reputable accountancy practice in Maidstone, who are looking to appoint a Tax Manager to support their growing private client and trust tax function.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced tax professional seeking a long-term role with real scope to take ownership of client relationships and advisory work, in a stable and collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a portfolio of clients with a focus on Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Trust Tax
  
  
• Overseeing personal tax and trust compliance
  
  
• Advising clients on estate and succession planning
  
  
• Liaising with HMRC and external advisers
  
  
• Supporting junior staff and contributing to team development
  
  

What They’re Looking For:

• ATT qualified – essential
  
  
• Strong hands-on experience in private client tax and trusts
  
  
• Solid understanding of IHT and CGT planning
  
  
• A proactive and professional communicator
  
  
• Someone happy to be predominantly office-based in Maidstone, with flexibility to travel to Sheerness as required.
