We are currently recruiting for a proactive and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join our client’s busy retail team in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected retailer known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to excellent service.

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive shopping experience. From welcoming customers to managing stock and supporting store operations, this is a varied and hands-on position that requires flexibility and enthusiasm.

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
• Assist with product selection and offer tailored recommendations.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally.
• Process sales transactions (cash and card).
• Support in-store promotions and special offers.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked displays.
• Receive and process deliveries.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Reorder stock and manage inventory levels.
• Assemble and disassemble scooters (some heavy lifting required).
• Answer phone calls and complete light administrative tasks.
• Work flexibly, including weekends, to meet business needs.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and hands-on work.
• Previous retail experience is a plus, but not essential.
