Retail Store Manager - Part time

Monkhouse at Battle Abbey School is truly set in the heart of the community. The store is one of our campus stores which means it is situated within the school itself. It is pivotal in providing customers with uniform that gives children the confidence to flourish in their academic life cycle.

A good proportion of this confidence comes from the service and knowledge that our team holds and guides families with. You will play an important role in making this happen by managing all aspects of the store and living by our core values, using them to serve every customer.

• A valid enhanced DBS check (we will manage this on your behalf if you don't already have this in place).

• You will be a key holder,


• Driving sales and customer service,


• Training and development of staff,


• Supporting seasonal recruitment,


• Stock management,


• Conflict resolution skills,


• Inventory management,


• Retail operations,


• Assisting with merchandising and window displays,


• Maintaining store standards and cleanliness.

Our location:

We are located in Battle Abbey School. We have free parking and good transport links.

Your working days and hours:

Monday - 2.30pm to 4.30pm

Wednesday - 8am to 10am

During our peak season, there is the option to uplift your hours.

When can you start:

Immediately!

What about holidays? Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year (including bank holidays, and pro-rated to hours worked).
