Sales Assistant

Hales Group are currently seeking a Weekend Sales Assistant to join our client based in Norwich on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
 
We are looking for someone to work with the existing retail team to maximise the sales potential of re-usable items taken to the recycling centre through the reuse shop. You will be working Saturday and Sunday each week, ideally with flexibility needed to support with extra shifts during the week.
 
We are looking for someone who is a team worker, fully flexible , and can deliver a high standard of customer service.
 
Main Duties of Sales Assistant Include:

• To be presentable and professional at all times when dealing with the public.
• Pricing, testing and quality checking items.
• Selling items directly to the public from re-use shop or via internet sales.
• Undertake necessary training to improve skills and abilities.
• Travel to other recycling centres and reuse shops at times, if/when needed.

 
In order to be considered for the role of Sales Assistant;

• MUST be able to drive - full clean driving licence
• Excellent customer service ideally from a retail position
• Ideally PAT testing experience (this is not essential)
• Able to complete manual handling tasks
• Have a proactive and conscientious work attitude
• Must have access to own transport due to locations of shift

 
LOCATIONS: Norwich South, Norwich North
HOURS: 8.45am until 4.15pm
ROTA: Saturday and Sunday, with additional weekday shifts flexibility required
PAY: Monday to Friday £12.21, Saturday £15.26, Sunday £18.31 per hour
DURATION: Temporary to Permanent
