We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Gainsborough, United Kingdom. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our retail operation.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and provide expert advice to customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised sales floor
• Assist with stock management, including receiving, unpacking, and replenishing merchandise
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service
• Participate in visual merchandising to create attractive product displays
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a courteous and efficient manner
• Stay informed about promotions, special offers, and new product arrivals
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating a can-do attitude and supporting colleagues

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak trading periods
• Strong initiative and self-motivation
• Team player with a collaborative approach
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management
• Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a tidy work environment
• Enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service
• Willingness to learn about products and stay updated on new arrivals
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with stock movement
• GCSE or equivalent qualifications (desirable)
