Sales Estimator

Overview
We are seeking an Estimator, The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and submission of accurate cost estimates.

Duties

• Process sales quotations, tenders and administration
• Liaising with sales/marketing
• Present estimates to management and clients
• Update and maintain an accurate database of historical costs for future reference.
• Dealing with clients via email and on the phone
• proactively develop and project manage all contracts with regard to acknowledgement of enquiry, response deadline, quotation follow up and associated activities.
• Ensure all drawings, correct liaison and procedures are approved

Candidate skills

• Proven experience as an Sales Estimator or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
