We are looking for a Sample Banking Technician to join
our Technical Service team.

Title: Sample Banking Technician

Salary: £14.26 per hour (circa. £17,796 per annum)

Contract: Fixed-term, 9 months

Hours: 24 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location: Anthony Nolan Research Institute, Hampstead, London

Job Summary

Key responsibilities:

• Complete training in use of databases and matrices to analyse data for samples and store this correctly


• Use sample data to identify samples for removal


• Use sample data to identify samples to be moved


• Organise samples in an effective manner for use by scientists


• Liaise with members of the team on the project and develop skills such as reporting to track your work

Essential attributes:

• Experience in an accredited laboratory

• A passion for the mission of Anthony Nolan

• Respect and value of the clinical samples being handled

• An openness to training in new workflows

• Being attentive and thorough with your work

• Being conscious of your time and making decisions to ensure a flow to the project

• Working well with others

• Using systems to process data and save backups

• Bringing a friendly and considerate approach to your work with others
