Teaching Assistant - SATs Support (LU3, Bedfordshire)
£90 - £105 per day (DOE) | Full-time | Short-term Cover
A welcoming Primary School in the LU3 area of Bedfordshire is seeking a proactive and flexible Teaching Assistant to provide vital support during SATs week. This short-term role is ideal for someone confident, adaptable, and ready to step in where needed to ensure a smooth and successful week for both staff and pupils.
The Role:
* Support Year 6 pupils in the SATs examination rooms as needed
* Provide general classroom support across the school while Year 6 staff oversee SATs
* Assist in maintaining a calm, organised environment during a key time of the academic year
* Work closely with teaching staff to respond to day-to-day needs
About You:
* Hold a CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or have proven UK Primary classroom experience
* Confident working with children across a range of year groups
* Calm, organised, and able to adapt quickly to a changing environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
