Facilities Manager Required For a large Primary school in Southwark

Location: Southwark, South East London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Normal Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM (Can be flexible)

A vibrant Primary school in Southwark is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities, creating a safe and conducive environment for our students and staff to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the maintenance and security of the school premises and grounds.
Conducting regular health and safety checks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Managing a team of 3 Caretakers, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
Coordinating maintenance and repair works, liaising with external contractors as necessary.
Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal facility management.
Handling administrative tasks including paperwork and record-keeping.Requirements:

Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
IT literacy, with proficiency in administrative tasks and health and safety checks.
