Role: School Mental Health Teaching Assistant

Location: Kempston

Start: September

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Mon-Fri (8:30am-3:30pm)

Salary: £460-£500 per week

This is your opportunity to join a highly regarded Special Educational Needs school in Kempston as a School Mental Health Teaching Assistant, where your work will directly impact the lives of children and young people with SEMH, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Communication Needs in the education and training sector.

Progress Into Clinical or Teaching Roles

As a School Mental Health Teaching Assistant, You Will:

  • Work closely with pupils who require social, emotional, and behavioural support.
  • Implement strategies to help pupils regulate behaviour and build resilience.

  • Provide 1:1 and group interventions tailored to individual EHCPs.
