A great opportunity has arisen for a Science teacher based in Newton Abbot. The school is keen to add a teacher to their successful team who is willing and eager to provide the best quality of support to students.

The opportunity is based in Newton Abbot, nestled in between the moor and sea it is a fantastic location. The school aims to provide a personalised learning experience in an inclusive environment that recognises all members of the community as equals. The headteacher is looking for an applicant that can equip students with resilience, respect and the ability to manage their emotions will enable them to be successful in any classroom or wider social environment.

You will be part of a collaborative team. It is essential to be confident of planning and preparing an engaging and creative class environment for the children. Strong ability to build relationships with students is necessary, with the ability to empower them on their learning journey. Good classroom and behavioural management.

The role is a term contract due to long-term sickness. With potential for the position to be extended further into the sprinf and summer term.

Salary for the role is dependant on experience, but will reflect the requirement to take on full responsibility of the class. PPA time will be provided by the school.
