Talent Focus is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Mathematics Teacher to teach:

• Years 7-10: Mathematics
• Years 11-12: General Mathematics

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Years 7-12 in line with curriculum requirements.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess, monitor, and report student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Participate actively in the professional life of the school, including staff meetings, professional learning, and collaborative curriculum development.
• Support the pastoral care and personal development of students.
• Work closely with colleagues and mentors to continually enhance teaching practice.

• A 3-year Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, plus a 1-year PGCE or equivalent teacher training program to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous classroom experience preferred, ideally with exposure to secondary students across a range of year levels.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
• Teacher registration in Queensland.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at secondary levels.
• Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons and foster a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
