Secondary Tutor - Leominster, Herefordshire

Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive and reliable Secondary Tutor to work with young people in Leominster, Herefordshire. This is an in-person role and is not online work. The successful tutor will provide tailored academic support to secondary-aged pupils, helping them build confidence, improve engagement and make progress in their learning.

The role may involve

Delivering one-to-one or small-group tuition to secondary-aged pupils

Working with young people with SEND
Planning and adapting sessions to meet individual learning needs

Supporting pupils with core subjects, including English, maths or science

Helping learners rebuild confidence and develop positive study habits

Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback

Working closely with families, schools and other professionals where appropriate

Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures

Essential requirements

Experience teaching, tutoring or supporting secondary-aged pupils

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

The ability to plan engaging, personalised learning sessions

A patient, flexible and supportive approach

A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable professional references

You must have the right to work in the UK.
