Security Agent

Premier Work Support is delighted to be recruiting for Security Agents at Manchester Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team supporting international flight operations.

Working Hours:

• Flexible shift patterns - These will be morning shifts to start.
• Hours - In line with flight accordance, flexibility required for as early as a 06:00am start.
• There may be opportunity for more hours depending on the needs of the client.

Key Responsibilities and duties:

As a Security Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all security procedures in line with CAA regulations.

Your duties will include:

• Body and baggage searches.
• Access control and aircraft guarding.
• Document verification.
• Security operations in areas such as Check-In, Baggage Handling, Cargo, and other airport zones as required.
• You will be conducting security duties across the airport as well as conducting searches in a catering unit - PPE will be provided.
• Pay rate for Guarding £12:50PH.
• Pay rate for Catering Unit £13.50PH.

Requirements:

• Full 5-year education/employment reference history
• UK residency for the past 3 years (required for CTC clearance)
• Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
• Strong commitment to long-term work

As above, in order to comply with strict aviation security regulations we will be undertaking a full five-year education/employment reference history and you must apply for a basic DBS and a criminal record check before starting this position.

Any applicants with non-UK based references will require the appropriate DBS check and translation of documents, and any gaps in employment must be accounted for.
