Security Guard

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.

As a Security Officer you will work the below shift pattern:

Monday Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday night shifts from 22:00-07:00.

18 hours per week. 

· Pay Rate: £13.13 + Overtime Available.

· Employee Status: Permanent/ Part time.

Duties:

· Looking for a service to cover the hours of 10pm – 7am, 7 days a week, 365 days a year inclusive of all bank holidays.

· This is a new service, and NHG are looking for a 2 x operative to work on site to cover the hours 10pm – 7am.

· The service would include security patrols of all buildings within the Halo Estate, this is a multi-tenure Estate with 710 units.

· To patrol two car parks and all external perimeters.

· External patrols may include, at times, assistance with tackling external antisocial behaviour outside the main commercial unit on site.

· To include a very basic litter picking/cleaning service to remove any fire hazards or trip hazards etc and reporting findings.

· To assist in the removal of any potentially hazardous items located on the Estate.

· To be able to arrange Adhoc additional staff on a 4hour request, which include roles such as security, concierge, and estate service.

· Reporting of any health & safety/security issues to the appropriate teams.

· Security officer will have use of the Concierge office facilities and break room.

· The security officer will need to cover the one-hour lunch break of the Concierge officer during a night shift so will provide a very basic Concierge service during that cover.

· To provide support to the Night Concierge Officer as per the fire strategy and to comply with NHG’s company policies and procedures.

· To increase the security of the Estate through patrolling and monitoring CCTV and tackling anti-social behaviour and criminality in all areas of the Estate.

· To be able to liaise with all authorities and emergency services.

· Understanding the importance of safeguarding and working with vulnerable client groups.
