We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join a busy cosmetics retail store over the festive period on a fixed-term contract. This role is key in ensuring the safety of staff and customers, protecting stock, and maintaining an organised shopping environment during high footfall weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deter theft and ensure the safety of stock within the store.
• Monitor and manage customer queues, ensuring an efficient and welcoming entry process.
• Provide a visible and reassuring security presence at all times.
• Respond appropriately to any incidents, escalating where necessary.
• Work closely with store management and staff to maintain a safe and secure environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in retail security or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, confident, and proactive approach.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in busy or challenging situations.
• Flexible and committed to weekend working hours.
