REED Practice are exclusively recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant, with practice experience to join a great team, supporting two junior accountants.

Semi Senior Accountant

Part Time / Full Time

Salary - up to £38,000 per annum

Bournemouth based

Role Overview:

This is a varied and challenging position, ideal for an accountant with minimum 5 years of practice experience. The role includes leading and managing the bookkeeping team, so a strong working knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparation of management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.

· Supervising a small team and providing occasional one-on-one training sessions with clients.

· Preparing company accounts and tax returns, alongside personal tax work.

· Ensuring high levels of service and compliance for all clients.

Ideal Candidate:

· At least 5 years of experience in a practice environment.

· Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks.

· Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

· Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
