SEN Childcare Assistant

Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £95-£115 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only

A supportive SEN school in Lewisham is seeking a caring and reliable SEN Childcare Assistant to join their team. You will be working with children who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.

• Support pupils with daily routines, personal care, and learning activities

• Work 1:1 or in small groups to aid engagement and development

• Follow EHCPs and work closely with class teachers and SENCO

• Help maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment

• Experience in SEN or childcare settings (school or care-based)

• Comfortable supporting children with additional needs and personal care

• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

• Reliable, patient, and confident working in a school environment
