Tradewind Recruitment are working with some fantastic alternative provisions and SEN Schools in Weston-Super-Mare and we're on the lookout for committed, resilient, and confident SEN HLTAS to join the Tradewind supply team now on a long-term basis.

We are looking for HLTAs with experience across EYFS to KS5, supporting children and young people with SEMH, EBD, ADD and ADHD, as well as those with significant and complex learning barriers, including autism, sensory processing disorder, physical disabilities and medical conditions.

The Role at a Glance:
* Full-time or Part-Time (to suit you), term-time only (Mon-Fri | 8:30am-3:30pm)
* Long-term contracts available with the potential to become permanent for the right people
* Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
* Step in to cover pre-planned lessons when needed - no planning required!
* Be a consistent, trusted adult in the classroom, helping students thrive both academically and emotionally

What We're Looking For:
* A confident HLTA, or an experienced TA ready to step up
* A minimum of 6 months experience in a school or specialist setting preferred but not essential if you have the right personality for the school
* Someone comfortable managing challenging behaviour with calm, consistency, and care
* A proactive team player with strong communication skills
* Reliability, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed

Pay & Perks:
* Daily rate: From £100 per day to £130 per day (depending on experience)
* Weekly PAYE pay - no hidden fees
