Location: West Drayton

Contract Type: Part-Time (Term-time only)

Salary: £180 - £190+ per day (D.O.E)

SEN Music Therapist - Job Description

• Plan & deliver individual and group music therapy sessions using instruments.
• Facilitate communication, self-expression, and emotional regulation through structured musical activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: SENCOs & Teachers.
• Select and maintain therapy instruments and adapt musical tools to meet individual sensory or physical needs.
• Regularly monitor and review student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.

SEN Music Therapist - Requirements

• A degree or qualifications in relation to Music therapy.
• A registered music therapist, ideally with the health and care professional council (HCPC).
• Experience working with children or young adults displaying challenging behaviour.
• Experience teaching music to children with learning difficulties.
