Remedy Education are working with a supportive and well-resourced SEN school in Lambeth, South East London, to recruit caring and committed SEN Support Workers. Positions are available for an immediate start or for those looking ahead to September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and complex communication needs. The school caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils and prides itself on its inclusive and nurturing environment.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs

• Assisting with personal care, sensory regulation, and daily routines (where required)

• Supporting students in the classroom, during therapy sessions, and through structured play

• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

• Promoting emotional well-being, independence, and life skills

• Experience working in a school, care, or youth setting (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting children with complex needs

• Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support when required

• Understanding of Autism and other developmental needs (PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies beneficial)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Resilience and a genuine desire to help young people thrive

• Streamlined registration - simple, remote process with full support

• Temp to perm - opportunity to move into a permanent role after a successful trial
