SEN Teaching Assistant

• £90 - £100 per day, dependant on experience and setting
• 1-5 days per week of work available
• September start date

We are currently working with a number of schools in the Swanley area who are seeking to recruit supply / day to day to work 1-5 days per week covering pre-planned and emergency sickness in the new academic year from September 2025.

We are looking for candidates who have professional experience working with children within the last 12 months and who are available for 1-5 days per week for work.

NextGen Teachers are working with a number of schools in Swanley who require day to day cover for various classes in schools and with children with additional needs.

Morning calls take place from 7:00am - 8:30am in the morning and the rate of pay is dependant on experience.

The role of a Supply Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be to:

• Support pupils in the classroom on a daily basis
• Support children with their activities and daily tasks
• Support the students with personal care (If required)
• Ensure the safety of children is held to the highest standard
• Safeguard all pupils
• Support children on a 1:1 basis both inside and outside of the classroom

In order to be to shortlisted for this role candidates must:

• Be available full-time from September 2025
• Have experience / knowledge of SEN and a passion to work with children with Special Educational Needs
• The right to work in the UK
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service
• Two professional references
