Salary: £94.14 - £109.06 per day
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time or Part-Time

Class People are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs in schools across Frome and Midsomer Norton.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis. You will be working with pupils with autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to ensure personalised support is delivered effectively.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Support individual pupils in meeting their EHCP goals
• Assist with tailored learning interventions
• Promote inclusion, social development, and well-being
• Maintain a calm, nurturing environment

Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children with SEN
• A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply
• Strong communication, empathy, and flexibility
