Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £13.75 - £14.75 per hour
Start Date: September

About the Role:

Reed are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in March, Peterborough. This part-time role involves supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Year 1, and Year 2 with complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pupils with their daily work as set out by the class teacher.
• Monitor and manage pupil behaviour inside and outside the classroom.
• Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.

Requirements:

• DBS Check: Candidates must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
• Eligibility: Full UK address and right to work in the UK.
• Experience: Previous experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those with SEMH and ASD, is highly desirable.
