SEND Teaching Assistant - Supply

Reed Education is seeking compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our SEND supply pool, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) across a range of specialist and mainstream schools in Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term placements, or the chance to explore different settings before committing to a long-term role, we want to hear from you!

• Supporting pupils with complex physical, medical, and learning needs in a classroom or 1:1 setting.
• Assisting with personal care, feeding, and mobility (training provided).
• Engaging pupils in sensory-based and therapeutic activities.
• Using alternative communication methods such as Makaton, PECS, or AAC.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.

• Experience working with children or young people with PMLD, complex needs, or disabilities.
• A calm, caring, and flexible approach to support.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and medical routines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability for short-notice or pre-booked assignments.
