The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated SEND Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Anglesey.

You'll work with learners who require additional educational support due to a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). By delivering engaging, personalised tuition, you'll help students build confidence, develop key skills and make meaningful progress towards their individual goals.

Position Details

* Location: Anglesey
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience working with children and young people with SEND
* Experience delivering tailored 1:1 tuition or classroom teaching
* QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
* A patient, adaptable and positive approach

Experience supporting learners with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs is highly desirable.

To be eligible, you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
