Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor in the Runcorn area!

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced tutors, teachers and mentors to provide personalised 1:1 support to children and young people with a range of additional needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and tailored sessions based around the individual learner's needs, abilities and educational goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and helping young people overcome barriers to education.

Position Details:

Location: Runcorn
Position: SEND Tutor
Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Previous teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
QTS or equivalent qualification desirable
Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
A patient, creative and adaptable approach

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
