Senior Backend Engineer

About:

360 Talent are partnered with a Premium Womenswear brand who are looking for a Technical Senior Backend Engineer. In this role you will lead and drive the architecture and development of new system integrations and automations solutions. With previous hands on experience you will be responsible for a small team and play an integral part of conveying complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Confidence in writing code is a must. This role is a 12 month FTC, offering a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a cross-functional team of Engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and performance
• Design and implement data flow architectures between diverse backend systems and external providers
• Develop new system integrations utilizing low-code platforms and TypeScript
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, migrate, and validate data integrity.
• Deliver a robust infrastructure to support eCommerce re-platforming initiatives and enable future automation strategies
• Identify and escalate potential risks or issues that could impact project delivery timelines
• Break down the project requirements into actionable tasks and maintain visibility on the Kanban board
• Partner with Project Managers to align on project progress, priorities, and deliverables

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Proven expertise in developing low-code/no-code solutions for data integration
• Hands-on involvement in at least one project utilizing fuzzy-matching logic within systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate challenges from multiple perspectives and identify optimal solutions based on time constraints and impact
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
