We are looking for an Senior Business Support Officer for a period of 12 weeks, the first of which is to support our IRS and MASH Teams within Children’s Services for Newcastle City Council.
This is an extremely busy frontline service supporting our MASH/Triage Service, alongside six IRS Social Work Teams.
Duties and responsibilities include call handling, undertaking data quality and administrative tasks such as processing and uploading contacts and referrals within our Eclipse Social Care System, minute taking, and some elements of financial processes.
The second and third SBSO Roles are to be based within our Long Term Social Work Teams, similar tasks outline above but as one support to a dedicated Social Work Team.
You will be in a team of 8 SBSO’s and provide a coordinated response to a Team of eight Social Workers. You will need to be able to work to strict timescales and be adaptable to regular changing of priorities throughout the working day.
The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
