We are looking for an experienced senior physiotherapist to join the team at Nuffield Health at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in central London. The successful candidate will have a proven history of working independently in the inpatient setting to a high level of competency. You will have demonstrable qualities of leadership in areas such as: junior staff supervision, service line optimisation, pathway creation / improvement, innovative problem solving and customer service.

Due to the clinical specialisms on site, we will require a physiotherapist with a base experience in key areas: orthopeadics and critical care. You will be given the opportunity to upskill in the clinical areas you are less experienced in with guidance from senior specialist physiotherapists.

You will need to have:

• A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council

• Proven post qualification clinical experience in inpatient settings to a high standard of competence.

• Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team

• As the hospital is still in its early phases of operations you will need a willingness to be involved in hospital activities outside that of patient facing contact. E.g. pathway optimisation and evaluation.

We've opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
