About One YMCA:

One YMCA Youth Clubs cater to young people aged 9 to 18 years. This role involves managing an established youth club, leading exciting projects, and opening a new club in the Hatfield area

Role: Senior Youth Development Worker

Job Type: Permanent

Pay rate: £29,848.00 / pa + Benefits

Hours: Part - time

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver youth activities aligned with YMCA's strategy.
• Support young people and work with key partners.
• Supervise youth workers and track program outcomes.
• Meet performance goals and maintain high service standards.
• Provide cover across the Youth Team as needed.
• Help grow YMCA's youth programs and secure funding.
• Build local partnerships to identify community needs.

Requirements:

• 
  Training can be given for this role, and a willingness to undertake a level 3 qualification is essential
  * Driving and access to a car is required in this role.
  * We need you to join us on Wednesday evening and Thursday evening each week with additional time for admin built in. This amounts to 18.75 hours per week in total
  * An Enhanced Disclosure Check is required for this role.
