Job Description - Sewing Machinist - Part time/full time

Exciting opportunity for a Sewing Machinist or Seamstress to join a company within the medical sector.

This opportunity sits perfectly for individuals with Industrial Sewing Machine experience who are used to working with high production volumes.

Ideally we would like someone to work a minimum of 3 days, but we would consider two full time days.

The role will sit in a team of four and you will be guaranteed a friendly and welcoming environment.

Summary & Benefits:

Sewing Machinist or Seamstress
Harlow
Full-Time & Permanent.
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
Competitive Salary

Key Duties:

Producing x ray protective equipment and clothing for leading suppliers of medical equipment.
To use lock stitch, binding and zig zag machines as per instructions/training.
To sew cut parts into complete items referencing templates, work instructions and/or samples to product x ray shields.
To cut materials and trims following patterns to produce aprons.

About You:

Industrial Sewing Machine experience
Experience of producing high production volumes
