Shipping/ Logistics Administrator

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Shipping Administrator to work for a busy manufacturing company based in King's Lynn.

The purpose of this role:

To coordinate the picking, packing and dispatch operations for both incoming and outgoing goods. This role supports the Distribution Manager assisting the team and the running of the area as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Working with the distribution team, production, purchasing and sales to ensure orders are dispatched as required and on time. Scheduling shipments and preparing logistics paperwork. Ensuring carriers arrive within allotted times.
• Assisting the Manager and team with daily running; including cover for absence, documentation etc.

• Ensure dispatch materials are available as required, including timely ordering of cases and packaging, storage and stock rotation.

• Import processing including arranging forwarder collections and issuing of customs clearance instructions

• Keeping records efficiently and correctly

Previous experience within Shipping or Logistics would be beneficial and experience within an office environment would be essential.

Monday to Friday 8am-1pm, part time hours.

Hourly rate is £14.50 per hour.
