Part-Time School Site Assistant - Sittingbourne
Location: Sittingbourne
Hours: Monday to Friday, Part-Time (20 Hours Per Week)
Pay: £15+ per hour

Academics are currently recruiting for a Part-Time School Site Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School Site Assistant seeking a long-term position within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening, locking, and securing the school site
Carrying out general site assistant duties, including basic maintenance and minor repairs
Completing routine health & safety checks and site inspections
Preparing rooms and facilities for school events and activities
Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained at all times
Supporting staff with day-to-day site and facilities tasks
Liaising with contractors and visitors where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience as a School Site Assistant, Caretaker, Facilities Operative, or within a similar role
A practical, proactive, and reliable approach to work
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
The ability to work independently and use initiative
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneThis is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on School Site Assistant looking to join a friendly school with consistent part-time hours
