Site Engineer - Part time RECRUIT123 LIMITED This position is initially offered on a 24-month contract and is likely to be extended. The role will mainly support a customer site on the outskirts of Warrington, close to the M62 motorway, working approximately 2 days per week. Our client is a well-established and highly respected UK specialist in Process Weighing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, servicing, maintenance, and solving problems on-site. The role could suit: An experienced field/service engineer looking for less travel An internally based engineer wanting a more varied field-based role Someone seeking a fresh challenge within a supportive and close-knit engineering team What we need from you as a Site Engineer: Good practical electrical and mechanical skills Experience servicing, maintaining, repairing, or fault finding on equipment or machinery Someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work and problem solving Full UK driving licence Flexible and reliable approach to work Able to work independently and represent the company professionally on customer sites Able to complete service paperwork and reports accurately Any software or electronics knowledge would be beneficial Key Responsibilities: Carrying out scheduled calibration, servicing, and maintenance of dynamic checkweigh and weighing systems General maintenance and fault finding on customer equipment Manual handling of test weights for calibration purposes Working closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a professional customer service Salary: £30,000 pro rata (2 days per week - flexible), depending on experience and ability Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata) Expenses paid Pension scheme Future private healthcare provision Mobile phone and laptop provided Please apply now if you are looking for a varied and practical engineering role with a respected specialist company.
