Site Supervisor

Our client in Patchway, Bristol, is seeking a Site Supervisor. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, School Leadership Team, and Head of Estates & Facilities, this hybrid role involves working across both the school and lettings facilities. The Site Supervisor will ensure the smooth operation of the lettings team and facilities, performing a range of duties including security, health and safety, and light compliance tasks. This is a 30 hour contract! Key Accountabilities, duties and responsibilities: - As a main key holder to be responsible for the security of the school premises and to assist the Facilities Manager in planning to cover periods of absence, holidays, special events or occurrences - To manage the weekend and evening running of our sports facilities, including sports hall, sports field and all-weather pitch, ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the first priority. - To be responsible for ensuring that the buildings and site are shutdown according to procedures. To carry out the necessary preparations for building closure, activating the security systems, and securing all buildings and site access points at the conclusion of the days operations. - To oversee the use of school facilities to help ensure safe practices and acceptable standards of behaviour are observed and to seek to minimize incidences of injuries, misuse and damage. This includes patrolling of the sports pitches. - To be responsible for the Health and Safety of all staff and visitors and to provide first aid assistance as required. Ensure all first aid equipment is current. Working environment: - Some activities will require some outdoors work in adverse weather conditions.

- Some duties may involve working alone and unsociable hours on site e.g. when dealing with lettings. Equipment: - Good understanding of the alarm systems, CCTV and BMS would an advantage, training will be provided. - The post may from time to time involve lifting and moving of furniture and equipment in and around the school premises Special Notes/Conditions: - Enhanced DBS required.
