Sleeping Nights

At Home Instead we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. This vacancy is for Sleeping Nights/Sleep Ins for 9pm-7am, 3-4 times per week. We match our Care Professionals and clients together so memorable connections can be established.

You would initially be introduced to this client, supported by another colleague.

Responsibilities:

• Remain in the client's home overnight to ensure their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
• Be available to respond promptly to client needs during the night, including emergencies.
• Document any overnight incidents, observations, or care provided.
• Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
• Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
• Administer medication and record appropriately.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• You must live in the local area.
• Must have a caring, friendly personality.
