Special Needs Teacher - SEMH Setting - Long-Term Role - Bristol
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teacher with QTS (preferably) to join a small, supportive SEMH school after Easter in South Bristol. This role involves teaching a range of subjects including Functional Skills & PSHE. The school provides a nurturing environment with small class sizes (approx. 8 students per class) and TA support.
The Role:
* Teach a range of subjects including Functional Skills and PSHE to students aged 8-16 with SEMH needs.
* Support students with challenging behaviour in a structured, small-class setting.
* Work 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (will consider part time for a strong candidate)
* Long-term temporary role, with potential for a permanent contract.
What We're Looking For:
?? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - experience in SEMH is a bonus, but not essential.
?? Strong behaviour management skills - confident in handling challenging behaviour.
?? Passion for engaging and supporting young people with SEMH needs.
?? Ability to create a positive learning environment and work collaboratively with TA's.
