A multi-award-winning specialist school for young people aged 11-19 with autism, as a Speech & Language Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality assessment and therapy to children and young people with ASD and associated difficulties such as speech, language, communication needs, ADHD, and anxiety.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in collaboration with the educational team.
• Work closely with Occupational Therapists, the School Nurse, and the education team to integrate therapeutic approaches.
• Monitor and report on the progress of therapy, adjusting plans as necessary to meet the needs of each student.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and strategize on student care and progress.

• HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Experience in working with children and young people with ASD.
• Knowledge of a range of therapeutic interventions and approaches relevant to ASD, ADHD, and anxiety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
