Sports Coach

Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coaches to work within primary and secondary schools in the Kirklees area. Whether you're a recent Sports Science graduate, an experienced coach, or looking to transition into education, we want to hear from you!

As a Sports Coach, you will:

• Deliver high-quality PE and sports sessions across a range of schools

• Support students in developing physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence

• Assist with lunchtime, after-school clubs, or intervention groups

• Promote healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour through sport

• Work alongside teaching staff to engage hard-to-reach learners

• Contribute to school life and enrichment activities

• Has experience coaching children or young people (schools, clubs, academies, etc.)

• Holds a relevant coaching qualification (e.g., Level 2+ in Football, Rugby, Netball, etc.)

• Has excellent communication and motivational skills

• Is confident working with groups of children across different key stages

• Is adaptable, proactive, and able to manage behaviour effectively

• Possesses or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check

• Competitive daily rates (£85-£100+ per day depending on experience)
